England Netball One Award

Today we attended the England Netball ONE Awards in St Ives, Cambridge.  The club was nominated for Community Club of the Year and Kim, our founding member and Head Coach was nominated for Unsung Hero Award.

Whilst the club didn't win we are very pleased to say that Kim did and she now goes onto the National Finals in October.

It’s a massive achievement for Kim and for the club and we are extremely proud to have been there with her.

Congratulations Kim

New Sponsor

We are pleased to announce that the club has a new sponsor and we would like to thank G Engineering Ltd  of Rumburgh, Halesworth for their generous donation which will go some way to providing kit for our under 13 girls team and essential equipment.  Thank you from all the Committee and members

Over the weekend of 11th and 12th May, our new under 13s junior team, Beccles Belles, played in a very demanding tournament held at Lynn Grove, Bradwell.  The teams they were playing against were county level and they all did an absolute amazing job for their first ever competition.

They have certainly done Beccles Netball Club proud

Linda Crisp Memorial

The Lowestoft League held its AGM on Tuesday 16th April.

The Linda Crisp Award was created in memory of Linda Crisp who was a respected umpire, compassionate and loved umpiring and developing aspiring umpires. The award this year went to our very own Deborah Smith who is a C registered umpire and mentor. Deborah gives up her time every week to umpire and mentor in the league, in all weathers without fail and we are very proud that she was selected to receive the award this year.  Well done Deborah
